In the fashion world everyone who’s anyone has been sporting one of this season’s statement prints; Prada’s vintage cars. The fashion house debuted their amazing cadillac-inspired print on the S/S ’12 catwalks and it’s sent high street retailer Primark into a bit of a copycat frenzy. We’re talking getting your high street loving hands on an almost identical print, that’s been seen on the likes of screen sweetheart and die-hard Prada fan Carey Mulligan, been donned by Nicola Roberts in a gorgeous In Style shoot and hit the cover of Elle courtesy of Dakota Fanning. With a track record like that, isn’t it time you invested in something similar?
Carey, Nicola, Dakota…you? There’s no excuse for not working the Prada car print this season when this amazing selection is available at Primark and looks just like the original. For £12 you can work this season’s must-have high street skirt and for only £8 you can dip your toe into the trend with the gorgeous car print blouse. As this season is all about pastel hues, it’s only right that the collection comes in pastel yellow and a duck-egg blue. Wear the colours together for a matched, girly look or mix and match for a more catwalk worthy look.
